i found out about an email meant for me, being sent to an unauthorized email address. so prior to my in person appointment i called the office about the privacy concern. the person i talked to was very unhelpful and dismissed my concern.

Dr. Lorerky Ramirez-Moya is a child and adolescent psychiatrist. While pregnant with her son, Dr. Ramirez-Moya completed her child and adolescent fellowship at the Universidad de México. She focused on learning developmental disabilities and autism at the University of New Mexico Center for Development and Disability Pediatrics. Two years after completing her fellowship, Dr. Ramirez-Moya's son was diagnosed with autism and a rare genetic disease. Since her son’s diagnosis, she has been working and advocating for the developmental disability community. As a mother, Dr. Ramirez-Moya understands the struggles of dealing with insurance, schools, and community services for a child with a developmental disability. As a doctor, she understands the difficulties in managing medications for patients facing such issues and who could respond uniquely to psychopharmacology. Dr. Ramirez-Moya understands the importance of working with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physical therapists, case managers, neurologists, and school staff. She is from Costa Rica and is bilingual. Dr. Ramirez-Moya is committed to caring for Hispanic and bilingual children who struggle with mental illness and cultural adaptation.

my daughter is nonverbal and developmentally disabled. however, i am so pleased with the manner and involvement that our psychiatrist uses to communicate with kristy.

if it weren?t for dr. ramirez we would change providers. the office staff is awful.1. we never gave permission to keep our card information on file for billing purposes .2. our card is automatically charged without our consent.3. we are automatically charged and still receive a bill in the mail and by email (even though you charged us already)3. we gave our son?s medi-cal information (took three calls to get anyone to take the information)4. still waiting to be credited back the $35 we should have never been charged.5. most of the office staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and clueless.dr. ramirez is the only reason we are still with mind path.

dr. ramirez - moya is amazing and a perfect fit for my autisic son.i am extemly unhappy that mindpath health does not accept medicare but excepts medical. when you appoved for ssi and medical for a mental disability your company kicks you to the curb.we are very sad that if this policy does not change we are force to find a new provider which will not be to the dr. ramirz-moya standard.bryaan sedway775-772-4800
