She understands that mental illness does not differentiate between age, subsequently, Kelly enjoys working with children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. She feels that regardless of age everyone’s life is important. Kelly’s single most important professional accomplishment was obtaining her doctorate degree, as the knowledge, she gained enabled her to provide evidence-based care with positive outcomes. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked for 15 years with patients with mental illness. She further obtained her Master’s Degree with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner, her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, and her Postmasters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. Her psychiatric practice has included both inpatient and outpatient settings across the lifespan. Kelly treats depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, and other psychiatric and mental health-related problems.
