I've been going to Dr. Carrillo for ten years. She is very thorough and she takes the time to answer all your questions. If you have any female problems, she is very aggressive in getting you answers and giving you options. Love Love Love Dr. Carrillo! She is the best!

Dr. Lori Carrillo founded AZ Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 after spending two years with a large practice in Gilbert Arizona. The practice was placed on the campus of Banner Desert Medical Center to optimize patient convenience and to increase the contact with patients during their hospitalizations. It is our mission to provide a medical experience which extends personalized care while providing first-rate care. The staff at AZ Obstetrics and Gynecology enjoy the opportunity to earn our patients trust and develop relationships based on mutual respect and the goal of optimizing health. We thank all our long-standing patients who have shared their lives with us, and look forward to the opportunity to serve new patients.
Dr. Carrillo was born and raised in New Mexico, but became a "native Arizonan" when she became a "sundevil" . She graduated Summa Cum Laude from ASU and then returned to Albuquerque, NM for Medical School. After completing her internship in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Hawaii, the sun of Arizona brought her back to finish her training in downtown Phoenix.
Dr. Carrillo's patients are always curious about her "personal" life, and it is often we hear her stating that she has been married "all-of-her life". She actually met her husband on her "high-school graduation trip", and has been basically married ever since. They had "only" two children because she was a "horrible pregnant person"! She is proud of her roles as wife, mother, daughter, friend and DOCTOR.
Dr. Carrillo is a well-rounded "obstetrician & gynecologist". She enjoys seeing women of all ages, and extends services to both pregnant and non-pregnant patients. She is a skilled surgeon and is commited to staying current in all aspects of her specialty.
