This was a terrible experience!!!! The worst experience in a medical office I have ever had. I strongly recommend that you do not waste your time! Do not spend your time and money to be treated disrespectfully, and left with the same health questions you had walking in. I very rarely write reviews, and have never written a negative one, but I felt the need in this case. I can not stress enough how unpleasant this experience was. Let me start by stating that the doctor himself was wonderful, and the poor experience was solely due to his staff and office. First, when I arrived for my appointment the woman at the front desk was very rude (which continued the entire time I was there), and told me that I did not have an appointment. I did, however, have a confirmation, but she did not care and told me I would have to leave. Then, she changed her mind, and asked the doctor if he could see me. He did, and after about a 40min wait, I did have my appointment. The doctor was professional, nice, and kind. I needed to get an ultrasound, so I waited in the office until I could get that done. In the meantime, I tried to ask questions about the ultrasound, future appointments, and the medication the doctor had prescribed. The woman at the front desk simply told me she didn't have any answers, and would not check with the doctor. This happened several times. She would not even tell me the name of the medication that the doctor was calling into the pharmacy for me, and stated that the pharmacy could handle that. She would not even check with someone to answer my questions about how to take the other medication that he gave me! After the ultrasound, the front desk said they would call me with the results and call in my medications. She refused to let me pay my co-pay. I have never heard anything back from the office about the ultrasound results, and it took all day for the medication (that they wouldn't advise me about in the office) to be called into the pharmacy. I did call the office a few hours after my appointment to try to reach a medical assistant, or someone who could answer my questions, hoping that the issue was just the woman at the desk. I was transferred to a line that hung up on me, and then was told I could leave a message. No response. This appointment took my entire morning, about 4 hours to be seen and for the ultrasound. I ended up with no results, no medication since I can not take what was called in to the pharmacy, no treatment plan, and no follow up. The way that I was treated by the staff was unprofessional, distasteful, and simply intolerable. I can't even write all of the details of the appointment to illustrate my point, but I suggest that you utilize other options so you do not have to find out for yourself!
