More about Dr. Lori Jones, MD
Lori E. Jones, MD graduated from Furman University in 2003 with a degree in Neuroscience. She went on to complete medical school in Charleston, South Carolina at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007. She completed her Urologic Surgical residency at the New Jersey Medical School and Hackensack University Medical Center in 2012.
Dr. Jones has presented research abstracts at several urologic conferences and meetings, including the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the New York Section of the American Urologic Association, and the Engineering and Urology Society. During her residency she was the recipient of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award (2012). Dr. Jones is a member of the American Urologic Association, the Society for Women in Urology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Jones treats both male and female patients for a wide range of benign urologic conditions as well as urologic cancers. Her clinical interests include female voiding dysfunction, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.
Dr. Jones performs surgical repair for pelvic organ prolapse both with and without the use of mesh. Her approach and choice of surgical technique is based on each patient’s unique presentation, medical history, anatomy, as well as personal preferences.
