Dr. Romberg grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, CA. She earned her bachelor's degree with summa cum laude honors from the University of California at San Diego. She attended both graduate and medical school at UT Southwestern, where she earned both her master's degree in genetics and her medical degree. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She loved being at Baylor so much that she elected to remain at Baylor to practice with Women's Health Alliance.
Dr. Romberg has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2007. She earned numerous awards throughout her education including the DFW OB/GYN society award for outstanding medical student and the W.K. Strother award for excellence in clinical and academic achievement during residency. She is on the faculty at Baylor University Medical Center and enjoys teaching doctors in Baylor's residency training program. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and belongs to the AMA, TMA, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Romberg cares for women through all stages of life, from the teenage years through childbearing and midlife into menopause. She enjoys delivering babies, both routine and high-risk pregnancies. She is skilled at performing in-office procedures including endometrial ablations (Thermachoice, HTA, Novasure), hysteroscopy, sterilization by tubal occlusion (Essure, Adiana), colposcopy to evaluate abnormal Pap smears, LEEP for treatment of cervical dysplasia, and placement of long-term reversible contraceptives (Mirena & Paragard IUDs, Implanon). She is also skilled at procedures to treat urinary incontinence as well as hysterectomy and laparoscopy.
