“I was very nervous for this appointment as I had never been to an OBGYN before and was experiencing unexplained bleeding. I had found this practice through doc doc and scheduled first available appointment I could find. My experience with Dr. Tako was amazing and he listened to all my concerns first, went over medical history and my medications. I brought my cycle tracking pdf and he looked at it and went over details I felt were important. He performed a sonogram (which I’ve never had before) and I was so nervous for it however he made me feel eased and calm throughout the exam and prioritized my comfortability and modesty throughout. During the imaging I was able to see it on a TV screen and he illustrated those findings in real time and explained in depth his working diagnosis and next steps. I am so glad I chose to come here and am confident I found a great doctor. Highly highly recommend.”

Dr. Tako was great. Didn't waste my time with repetitive questions. He took his time and listened to my concerns and prior history. I was unsettled by the wait time, unfortunately. Arrived early, completed my paperwork online and still waited for 30+ minutes to be seen. I confirmed my appointment at least 4 times and was not told until I was on my way to the appointment to arrive 30 minutes early.

As others have already stated, Dr. Tako is very thorough, listens to concerns, and allows you to ask questions without judgement. He is really good at making sure you understand all of the medical terms and possibilities so you can make the best decisions for your health. I needed to have an ovarian cyst removed. Upon removal, he took on the task of saving my ovary with high priority.
Before leaving my initial appointment I was told that their surgery department would reach out to schedule surgery. No communication was received. I read another review on Zocdoc of someone having the same experience and got a little nervous. I kept trying to reach out and almost gave up, but finally was able to get a hold of someone in the right department. The surgery scheduling and estimates were communicated through text message. I found that to be a bit odd at first, but ultimately was glad to have things written down for easy referencing. In the end everything worked out and I am better off for it!

Dr. Tako is an incredibly patient and compassionate gynecologist. This was my fourth visit, and I will definitely be back. He truly listens to all concerns, takes the time to educate you, and ensures you feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I appreciate that a female nurse is present during exams, adding an extra layer of comfort. His bedside manner is outstanding—unlike many doctors who seem rushed, he genuinely cares about his patients. Highly recommend!

I’ve seen multiple physicians before that didn’t go in depth concerning my medical needs but Dr. Tako was more helpful and informative then those before. His bedside manner is awesome and he’s very polite and professional.

Do Not go here for any menopause related issues. I’m sure he is a great ob/gynecologist if you are pregnant. My concerns were disregarded despite lab results showing very low hormone levels. Their website is very misleading…

Dr. Tako and the office staff were absolutely amazing. I was able to complete all paper work prior to my appointment, which made my check in process seamless. The wait time was not long at all. As soon as I checked in, I was called back. Dr. Tako attentively listened to my concerns and immediately came up with a plan for me. He also gave valuable information that I know I can benefit from. It’s not always easy finding a good doctor when moving to another state , but I am so grateful I researched and found Dr. Tako. Just from my first visit, I know I’m in good hands.

Dr Tako was nothing short of amazing. From the moment he enters the room, extremely respectful. Great bedside manner. I had lots of concerns and questions. Dr Tako listened to all my concerns, did an ultrasound and ran all the necessary tests justified that we can have covered by insurance. He’s firm but kind - the perfect combination in any doctor. He tackled every question or concern. If you’re needing to get things done and be proactive or reactive, I highly recommend Dr Tako. Of note, I was very emotional and the staff is incredibly accommodating as well. Many healthy deliveries and success to your practice, your hands and in all your endeavors.
