We were so happy to get an appointment with Dr. Faiella. My husband was not feeling well on for sometime. I went on line and made an appointment with Dr. Faiella for the next day. At first they were not going to see him because he was a new patient, but after explaining the problem to the receptionist she told us to in immediately What a helpful, wonderful Doctor he explained everything to us. The staff at this office were completely helpful. We thank them for being kind in our hour of need.

The wait was long because I was a first time patient, which I didn't mind. Once I did see the doctor, he is knowledgeable concerning his craft and personable. I did not feel rushed as he took his time with me as he does with all of his patients. Highly recommended. The parking is terrible, but worth the two block walk.

Dr. Faiella III obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1991. He completed his residency training through Cornell Medical College and New York Medical College for his general surgery and urologic surgery training in 1997. During his residency, Dr. Faiella was involved in many research studies and published numerous articles in peer-review journals.
Dr. Faiella is Board certified by the American Board of Urology, is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and has been a partner at UroCare Associates of New York, a division of Integrated Medical Professionals since 1997. Dr. Faiella practices in all areas of urologic surgery including all open major/minor, laparoscopic, cystoscopic, percutaneous and laser based surgical procedures. As well, in-office procedures such as “No scalpel” vasectomy are available. He has a special interest in all aspects Urologic Oncologic Surgery and management and has developed expertise with Cryoablative surgical techniques. He is Director of Urologic Oncology in the Department of urology at Winthrop University Hospital.
Dr. Faiella is fluent in Italian and Spanish and lives with his wife and their two loving boys.

The visit overall was unsatisfactory. My appointment was for 11:00am. I arrived at 10:50am and started filling out the necessary paperwork. I was not seen by the doctor until 12:35pm. The doctor was great but his office is poorly run. After my consultation, I spoke with the finance office concerning insurance coverage and to set an appointment for my procedure. I received extremely vague answers. The person in finance was unable to tell me if my insurance would cover the procedure and I was told that the next available date was "sometime in April". The doctor receives an A+ but his office personnel receive an F.

The wait though can be loooong and the front desk doesn’t have the same bedside manner as the Dr.

urological medicine, spent a good amount of time with the patient
listening and learning about the patients medical history.
I've seen other urologists and Dr Faiella is definitely up there with the best of them.
