About Lydia
Lydia is a pediatric speech-language pathologist located in Denver. She has experience working with children of all ages in their homes, daycares, schools, and in the community on articulation, phonology, augmentative/alternative communication, and expressive/receptive/social language skills. Lydia obtained her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida in 2020 and has been working in Denver ever since!
My Approach To Speech Therapy
I always use functional, child and family-based approaches in therapy sessions. My therapy incorporates the child's preferences and interests to promote engagement and success. I communicate with families to determine their goals for their child's communication, and make them my priority. I use a wide range of games, activities, videos, and reinforcements to motivate the child and make therapy fun!
What A Session Looks Like With Me
Sessions are full of positivity, excitement and fun! Sessions are typically 30-45 minutes and incorporate functional communication skills.
