Dr. Mirman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Professor of Psychology and Co-Director of Affiliates of Counseling. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State University after graduating with Departmental Distinction in Psychology from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana. Since that time he has worked as a psychotherapist, a clinical supervisor of graduate students and post-doctoral residents, the Director of Clinical Training in Psychology at Forest Hospital and a member of the Advisory Board of Divorce Magazine. He taught psychology at Michigan State University and Loyola University, and is currently a core faculty member at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He has published a number of articles and presented numerous papers at professional conferences throughout the U.S. and Canada.
