Getting to know Regina Freeman

Hi, I'm Regina. Do you know that everyone feels overwhelmed, especially now? Balancing family, work demands, and life is challenging. Everyone experiences these things differently and may need some reminding of their own strengths. I am a highly trained therapist with many years of experience helping clients realize their potential. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Chicago. My approach is filtered through a culturally rich and ethnically diverse lens. I'm gentle, empathic, and meet my clients where they are. Building upon past coping mechanisms will enable you to develop and find more effective ways of managing life stressors. Look, I get that everyone has some level of depression and anxiety. There are many interventions we can use—from traditional methods such as cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapies to the latest smartphone apps. I recognize that it will be hard work! But through your hard work will come true success.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Understanding that there are many techniques, tools and resources that can be effectively used in the battle against depression, anxiety and a host of other problems and challenges. Whatever you decide is the best course of treatment for you will depend upon you and your willingness to give each of these techniques a chance. Coming into therapy with an open mind and a belief that it just might work is all that's needed to get you back to your optimal self.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
