Specializing in clinical and forensic psychology, she is licensed in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Her private practice offers psychotherapy, psychological assessments, forensic evaluations, and expert testimony.
Dr. Gruen has a Ph.D. in Clinical Child and Developmental Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York City. As a member of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Gruen has served as the Public Education Campaign Coordinator for the State of Connecticut, as well as a member on the Executive Board of the Connecticut Psychological Association and on the Children and Youth Committee.
Dr. Gruen has clinical, research, and consulting experience throughout the tri-state area including Mount Sinai Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian New York State Psychiatric Institute, Montefiore Hospital in New York; Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey, University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, and Elmcrest Psychiatric Institute in Portland, Connecticut.
