Dr. Razavi owns and operates the Endoscopy & Digestive Center Of Woodbridge, which is an independent organization. The Endoscopy & Digestive Center Of Woodbridge received the highest level of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
As past President of the medical staff at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and as former Chairman of Department of Medicine at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Dr. Razavi is more than able to provide expert care. Dr. Razavi has been published in such prestigious journals as the Journal of National Medical Association, the American Journal of Gastroenterology and the American Journal of Hypertension. Dr. Razavi is Associate Professor at VCU school of Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor at George Washington University. He is a fellow of American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, as well as the American Gastroenterological Association and also a fellow of American College of Physicians. As America's Top Physician and America's Top Gastroenterologist, recognition from the medical profession for his dedication to excellence in his field is secondary to the care Dr. Razavi provides to his patients.
Accreditation distinguishes our clinic and Endoscopy Center from many other outpatient facilities by providing a safe work environment and the highest quality of care to patients. We offer a full range of office-based endoscopic services, including colonoscopy for colon cancer screening and upper endoscopy. We use advanced endoscopic equipment with digital imaging technology. As a benefit to patients, we work exclusively with board-certified anesthesiologists to provide deep sedation in an extremely safe and controlled manner. We have designed our unit to combine the convenience of an office-based endoscopy setting with the safety and diagnostic capabilities of an ambulatory Endoscopy Center. Our office-based endoscopic services adhere to standards published by the American Gastroenterological Association.

I thought that the staff at the front desk was very friendly but the doctor and his assistant were both very cold. I've never in my life been to any medical facility and the physician walks in and doesn't introduce himself or shake your hand. Both the physician and his assistant sat down and immediately started asking questions about why I was there. Can't believe there was no introductions!! Secondly, the physicians assistant kept cutting me off when I was trying to answer her questions, it was very rude and annoying. It's hard for me to say if the doctor was knowledgeable or not because he couldn't really pin-point any one thing that he thought may be the issue, he just ordered a bunch of test. I'm not saying my experience was the worst, but if the doctor was a bit more friendly and helped to make me feel a bit more comfortable it would've been a better experience. Going forward, I'm hoping my experience will be a better one.

He knows what he is doing, no doubt. However, he could reallllly work on being a little less cold towards his patients. Additionally, I had a few questions and he cut me off. I do not go the doctor to just be told a couple of things then just be sent off.

The front office staff is very friendly, this is one of the things I have had most disappointments often. The Nurse practitioner is also very good and takes her time to go over the medical history of the patient. Dr. Razavi is very kind and gentle.
