MacKenzie is a Registered Dietitian located in Upstate New York. MacKenzie received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a Minor in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and completed her Dietetic Internship through Priority Nutrition Care Distance Dietetic Internship. Additionally, she has completed her Masters of Science in Applied Nutrition with a Minor in Obesity and Eating Disorders from Northeastern University back in December 2019.
MacKenzie has been exposed to several areas of nutrition in both inpatient and outpatient settings including geriatrics, school nutrition, cardiac rehab, acute/intensive care, diabetes, renal disease, weight loss, prenatal/postpartum, oncology, and various GI disorders.
Nutrition has positively impacted MacKenzie personally, and ever since then has become passionate about helping others create and maintain healthy lifestyle changes. MacKenzie believes that by individualizing and creating realistic goals with clients, both nutritious meals and healthy behavior changes can be enjoyable and something to look forward to! MacKenzie focuses on providing evidence-based nutrition knowledge, while providing clients with constant support in order to reach their highest potential.
In her spare time, you will find MacKenzie spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, trying out new recipes, or spending time outdoors in the Finger Lakes!
