I just moved to Westchester and am thrilled to have Dr. Kancharla as my internist. In my annual visit, she focused on the big picture, while also covering relevant details. She combined the qualities of caring with being straightforward about lifestyle changes I need to make, which is helpful for anyone of any age. It's not that I didn't already know that diet and exercise are important, but she spoke in specific terms that were helpful, and I do think that a doctor's focus can create a sense of accountability regarding health. She also had me schedule a follow-up visit regarding specific problems of immediate concern. As a senior citizen, that kind of attention and follow up matter more than ever.

She asked multiple depth questions in order to understand the issue that I was there for. Dr Kancharla is a very caring woman who knows each of her patients and has a personal connection with them. She is careful with prescribing medicine and very through.
