Originally from Egypt, Dr. Abdelsayed attended the Cairo University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He accomplished his residency in general surgery at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and his residency in urology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR.
Dr. Abdelsayed is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a member of the American Urological Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. He has given many presentations and published extensively in such esteemed publications as the Journal of Urology.
Included in Dr. Abdelsayed’s vast medical scope are the treatment and management of a variety of medical dysfunctions, such as polycystic kidney disease, testicular abnormality, congenital kidney disease, interstitial cystitis and benign prostate hyperplasia. He also offers a range of services, including urodynamic studies, cystoscopy, infertility consultations, cancer screenings and prostate laser procedures.
