I would recommend Dr Zikra to all of my family and friends. I finally feel like my Throid health is in qualified, professional, competent hands. It has been years since I have been able to find such an amazing Endocrinologist. I truely feel as if Dr Zikra may have just saved my life, and at the very least gave me back my life. The first woman I saw was kind and MUCH friendlier than the French woman that normally does the pre-appointment stuff (weight, blood pressure, etc). The nurse practitioner that saw me was very nice and informative. She shared some relevant information with me that I had never heard before and I’ve been seeing endocrinologists for the past 3-4 years. She was quick and even spent extra time to draw my blood when the other woman was unavailable.

Was seen at my appointment time by the nurse, was a complete visit and they didn't rush through things. Dr. Zikra was wonderful, explained things well, and came up with a treatment plan rather than just going with the current treatment. I am glad she wants to see me get better rather than just stay the same and not get worse. Hard to find doctors who want to treat chronic conditions rather than just manage them.

The front desk woman was aweful and ignored me when trying to discuss an issue, she spoke at me not to me. The doctor herself was fine but I had to wait a hour past my scheduled appointment because she decided to go on break. When she did finally see me she immediately wanted to have me out the door and schedule more appointments...things that could have been done within a few minutes.

Everyone that I met was very polite, cordial and helpful. Dr. Zikra was very specific in telling me how she could help me. She listened, and was very attentive. I am so glad that I found her online. Dr. Zikra even noticed one thing that I did not bring up in the visit and she stated that if I went and put a certain type of medicine on the area, it would help. I think she is a gem.
