Malka is a native New Yorker who grew up in Long Island. She attended Macaulay Honors college where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College School of Health Sciences in Manhattan.
Upon graduating, Malka worked in plastic surgery before starting her career as a dermatology PA and has gained experience in both medical and cosmetic procedures. She works with patients of all ages and diagnoses and treats a variety of different dermatologic conditions including, acne, eczema, hair loss, psoriasis, rashes, cancers of the skin and other skin related disorders.

very mean girl behavior tbh and i already had to reschedule the appointment due to the office and they called saying that she would no longer be working in that office anymore. mind you i already took the day off for this appointment. the office staff is lovely. she is honestly a bit rude on the other hand.

Terrible wait time. Waited in the room for over 40 min. Assistant came in to grab something and I didn’t see anyone for another 30 minutes. The doctor did not listen to my concerns she literally looked at me for 5 min. Waste of time. I got more answers on Google for myself with less hassle.

My appointment was for a skin rash in a very area of my body. I felt very uncomfortable when she looked at my body. She also took the time to answer some other questions not related to my original request.

THE OFFICE CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO MAKE CLEAR I NEEDED TO BE THERE 15 MINUTES BEFORE. THEY GOT THERE 15 MINUTE AFTER AND I HAVE TO WAIT OUTSITE.

My daughter had a very good visit. The doctor spoke with us and we had a clear conversation. We will go back. Parking is challenging in that area however, there is a parking lot but you have to pay for parking. I don’t like the fee for parking .

Waited in the room 30 minutes before anyone came in. Dermatologist Malka was not friendly and was very brief, Did not give any helpful information. Ordered a cream sent it to a pharmacy that isn’t covered by my insurance. I’ve been trying to have it sent to CVS with no response: read on google reviews that she is racist and ironically she commented when I said I was concerned about a bump being cancer because I’m very tanned right now and exposed to the sun a lot. Her response was “well you seem to be naturally darker skinned” comment made me feel uncomfortable and shows her perception is off because I’m not darker than her.

This was my first time visiting a dermatologist, and it was so exciting. Malka Niknamfard, PA from Schweiger Dermatology Group was a great healthcare/skincare provider, and she was nice and courteous to me. Most importantly, she made that sure the concerns regarding my skin were heard and evaluated and gave me an appropriate prescription. Those who work also worked alongside her were really nice. Plus, the office was really set up nice and very clean, and there was little to no wait time at this office.

I tried not to pay attention to the negative comments here when booking her but they are all right, when I went I had to wait for over half an hour in a cold room after I got checked in for her to see me, and then she was very dismissive, didn’t listen to my concerns nor offer alternative treatments
