Dr. Manisha Parikh was born in New York City and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology with highest honors and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Parikh completed her residency training at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor, she served as Chief Resident and received many awards including excellence in resident teaching and resident of the year. Dr. Parikh is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, infertility, and adolescent and teen care. Dr. Parikh is able to communicate with her patients in Spanish.
Dr. Parikh and her husband, Maulik, relocated to the DFW area in 2006. They have a four month old son, Zail. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Her office staff was great! She was in surgery when I was supposed to have my appointment so the wait was long (more than an hour) but not her fault. When I finally saw her, she was rushed.
Through internet research I knew more about my issues than she did and because of her hurried demeanor I am disgruntled at having to pay nearly $300.00 for nothing more than an inconclusive physical breast exam!

Dr. Parikh is an excellent doctor! She is wonderful at explaining every process, always makes you feel like #1 and she is always willing to answer questions. I have been working with her for many years now and couldn't imagine consulting with anyone else! I would recommend her any time!
