About Dr. Charles Safely
Dr. Safely, a native to Texas, opened his practice in 1996. As a licensed and board certified M.D. in the state of Texas, he carries degrees from multiple Texas Scholar Universities. Trained in obstetrics and gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Dr. Safely cares for what matters most. Happily married for more than 25 years and with two children. Currently, I am performing most surgeries using the Da Vinci robot for Sacrocolpopexy; a procedure to correct vaginal and uterine prolapse. I am also a BioTe and Intone provider. We provide a complete range of OB/Gyn services and in-office procedures.

They don't take my insurance as it says they do. I also confirmed when I booked and was told they do. They waited until I was at the appointment to tell me they no longer do. I wasted 2 weeks and now have to start over when I need to be seen ASAP. Wish they would have called.

The doctor himself was knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The problem with this office is the staff. The doctor told me that I should hear back from his scheduler by Monday afternoon, for another appointment on Thursday. Well, no one called me back so I called them back myself, and Monserrat, the front office staff, told me that the doctor wouldn't get back to me until next week because he needs to verify my insurance!! Well, the funny thing is, I used to work for a women's health clinic and the front office was the one that checked insurance and it only took us a few minutes because it's literally a part of the health system unless they're using typewriters and doing everything by hand with no computer. I called her out on that and the fact that the doctor said I would need to schedule for THIS week, not a week from now, prompted her to put me on hold and tell me to try again tomorrow. Fingers crossed I actually get seen when I'm supposed to!

It was great. I was skeptical about a man being my gyno, but he was very nice and respectful. He listened to my concerns and was receptive. 10/10 recommend!!!
