I made an appointment through Zocdoc but it apparently didn’t go through on their end but they took me anyway in around 30 minutes. Dr. Kantu was quick and explained everything in ways I can understand and the staff was super nice.

The wait was very long. Waiting room was crowed. I was seen an hour and 30 minutes after my appointment time. The assistant was very nice. She listen to all my concerns. The doctor was very fast and was able to communicate what steps I should take next. I was In The office for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes (please note: we also did an allergy test which took 30 minutes)

Dr. Manoj Kantu is a board-certified otolaryngologist who specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric ears, nose, and throat disorders. His expertise and specialization include obstructive sleep apnea, chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis & reactive airways disease, head & neck disorders, hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, nasal obstruction and nasofacial deformity.
Dr. Kantu gained acceptance out of high school into Brown University's top-ranked Combined Undergraduate-Medical Education Program known as the PLME. While on this accelerated track, he was inducted into the esteemed medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He went on to graduate near the top of his class with Honors before advancing into and serving as chief resident in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program at the State University of New York at Brooklyn.
Dr. Kantu authored several textbook chapters as well as various manuscripts and publications in the field of otolaryngology/head & neck surgery. He has presented at multiple national meetings as well as local ENT chapters. He has gone to teach surgical residents, medical students, and physician assistants in both hospital and office settings.
Dr. Kantu is an active member of multiple Academies including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, The American Rhinologic Society, and the Kings County Medical Society. He was recently inducted into the prestigious American College of Surgeons, becoming recognized as a Fellow of this elite national organization.

It was a pleasant experience and I hope in future we will have a great doctor/ patient relationships. I heard about Dr Kantu’s professional expertise from a friend of mine.
This was my first visit to the doctor’s office. It’s actu a family operated office . Dr Kantu”s two Sons are also ENT Specialists who work under their father’s professional expertise.

First off, my wife is the patient I tagged along.
First time at this doctor. The waiting room is nice and tidy with a large screen TV.
After the usual wait, we were called to see the doctor. In the exam room there were three aides, which wrote down the medication my wife takes After 4 or five minutes the doctor came in the examination room I really wanted to explain my wife's problem one on one with the doctor. He asked what the problem was and he used the laryngos ope to check her nose and throat.
Obviously he didn't see any abnormalities . He prescribed two test to be done elsewhere.
Then he days "we now do an hearing test to establish a baseline." And he called out.
I asked one of the three aides,'why does the doc want to do a hearing test if the problem is in her throat".
One of them said" I don't know .
The moral of this story is .... don't judge a doctor solely on his schooling and background. Will I go back? What do you think.

The wait to see doctor Kantu was short, about thirty minutes. He also was very helpful in addressing my questions regarding my concern about not being able to smell certain things. I felt his presence and demeanor was genuine and truly professional and that he was well informed in his field of practice.

Stuff was good which is surprisingly big news for me by being 8 years of patient i had experience only with rood and tuff stuff in this clinic. Now big change i see.
But dr. Looks so tiered and doesnt looks to the patent's eyes at all when he talks to a pt.which makes notrust sence. Dr.nice and polite but it seems he doesnt comunicates with a patients. Always flys room to room.

I was pleased with the treatment that I was given by Kim and the young lady for the hearing test. The office staff was very nice and helpful.
However, my appointment was 2 pm , I arrived a bit early to fill out paperwork and my wait was a little too long to be seen. About 1 1/2 hours.
Since I was happy with the care I was given I am hoping that in the future the wait time to be see. Will not be long
