I absolutely love the zocdoc service - it gave me an appointment the very next day and copied the appointment directly into my iphone calendar with a reminder. I also had an exceptionally good experience with the doctor and all of his staff. The only downside is that the office is exceedingly busy - you feel a little bit like you're in a cattle car and the wait was longer than expected. Overall, very good experience and I would definitely return and recommend.

Dr. Marc Gittelman is one of the founders and directors of Uro-Medix, an 18 person Urology group now a subdivision of 21st Century Oncology. He has been practicing in Miami for the past 22 years.
Academics:
Dr. Gittleman completed his medical school as well as his General Surgical and Urology training in New York City at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he has received numerous awards including essay prizes and honors in all clinical rotations. He was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and completed his Chief Residency at Mount Sinai in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University with Summa Cum Laude honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Dr. Gittelman served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Medicine at the University of Miami for 6 years teaching and training medical students at the University. He is frequently invited to lecture physicians around the country at a variety of Universities and Medical Conferences and also in many community settings.

Without a doubt this office is unusable. The staff is unfriendly, the wait time is exorbitant, and the treatment offered is laughable. I came here with issues concerning my urine. After reviewing my case I was told that my urine was fine (without any lab tests – only a dip stick test). Currently still have foamy urine and looking for a new doctor.
In addition I was also being treated for low T. They insist on you buying the testosterone and supplies from their own sources and mailing them to you. They constantly hound you for refills when you purchased only the week prior and refuse to work with your schedule on delivery. Pickup is not an option.
The prescription also changes at will based on availability of the pharmacy and not necessarily what you need as a patient.
Calling the office for re-fills (when needed) is also a nightmare. They don’t know what was prescribed, if you don’t stay on top of them they send the wrong things, and if you need a call back? Forget it. You must constantly chase them around for answers.
Only one exception to the rule there, her name is Aimee and she is on top of things. Outside of her? Beware!

The waiting times are very bad at his facility. They failed to request the test results from other providers. I visited his office for nearly six months and never got a diagnosis or treatment for my condition.

At first I felt a little uncomfortable being the only woman in the waiting room but once I saw the Dr. he made me feel at ease. He was very nice and seemed to give his direct attention to me while he was with me.
