Dr. Robinson grew up on Florida’s Space Coast and graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 where he completed pre-optometry studies and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior. He then earned his Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Robinson is an expert in contact lenses including astigmatism, multifocal lenses, and challenging contact lens fittings.
He completed extensive training in the management of eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Robinson trained at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville where he further developed his skills to treat eye disease. Dr. Robinson then practiced in Madison Wisconsin for two years while his wife completed her studies. Dr. Robinson was ecstatic to return to Gainesville permanently following his wife accepting a faculty position at UF.
Dr. Robinson enjoys being able to provide the best vision for patients in all stages of life and embraces new technology and treatments uncovered through the latest research. Dr. Robinson is a strong advocate for annual comprehensive eye exams to prevent vision loss and provide a lifetime of clear, comfortable vision.
