Marcus Williams is a compassionate and attentive internist and primary care physician serving the areas of Exton, Upper Darby, and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. Dr. Williams received his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in cooperation with the SEAHAC program at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Dr. Williams is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Dr. Williams’ own experience with morbid obesity and Type II diabetes and subsequent treatment using gastric bypass surgery has made him a huge proponent of the procedure. He also successfully underwent the W8MD process, which is a metabolic syndrome focused weight loss program, to manage his health complications. As a direct consequence of this success, Dr. Williams has now opened his own W8MD practice to help others who struggle with obesity related health issues.
