No doubt a very professional person with a matching personality.
I will never go back. I am going to change doctors ASAP!!!!!!
She is wonderful. Explained everything I needed to know
This was the worst experience I've had with a doctor to date. Dr. Tulpan did not seem to listen to my concerns or have any particular interest in helping me. She effectively laughed at me when I brought up a question I had about what turned out to be a serious side effect of my medication. Though I felt she paid little attention to my symptoms, she was quick to order a slew of blood tests which ultimately showed nothing. The seemingly never-moving waiting room only added to my wasted time.

Horrible, horrible follow-up. As someone who has an autoimmune disease that requires monitoring, I need a doctor who is vested in my health. She was not. Her office canceled several appointments without explanation. I now see another doctor with a much better bedside manner who is vested in my health. Would not recommend.

It took her 3 weeks to get me back test results. I had to wait an hour to see her when she was the one who requested I come in earlier. Complete waste of time.
Great doctor. Highly recommend.
She is very good and cares about her patients

I went to Dr. Tulpan because she had great reviews, however I didn't find any of them to be true. She wasn't too great at listening. She had a condescending tone when responding to my concerns about some of my symptoms. I felt uncomfortable with the way she looked at me upon noticing my tattoos. She also attributed certain symptoms of mine to my cultural background even though I told her I had never experienced these symptoms before and they were fairly new. She then failed to call me with my results and when I reached out to her, she said she hadn't run complete blood tests and I would have to go back to get more results, some that I had specifically asked for on my first visit. Would not go again.
She gets things done, I'm normally chasing dr for results, treatment etc.. She got everything I need approved by my insurance immediately. Amazing really.. Or maybe I've just had bad experiences over the years.. But I def recommend her.
The Doctor make me feel very comfortable…. Did a blood test and was able to figure out what was wrong with my body and put me on a right dosage medication.

Dr. was nice but not overly friendly, very direct and to the point. I was a little a offened I suppose when she very bluntly said that I need to lose weight within the first 5mins of my first visit with her but I don't believe she was trying to be mean. Kind of a long wait and I came at least 20mins before my appt. Overall a good consultation and thorough exam. I will be back.
I was basically here to get a second opinion as my doctor recommended. I waited nearly two hours to see Dr. Tulpan and saw her for less than 10 minutes. She basically assured me what I already knew as I had lab reports from previous doctor visits. The visit wasn't worth waiting almost two hours.
Very good
nice experience, from the voice mail the day before for my reminder , time, address, even the streets the office is between. Office visit great friendly, dr was great.. I'm so thrilled that I came across her. Perfect

There was a long wait to be seen, although the staff was very friendly. Dr. Tulpan seemed to be in a rush and spent most of my visit typing notes, so unfortunately her back was to me for most of the consult. She was friendly enough, though, and seems like a good doctor.
This office is not prepared to schedule appointments through the ZocDoc App but if you make call the office directly, you will be able to schedule an appointment although you should be prepared to wait! Dr. Maria Tulpan is in high demand nowadays as is very obvious from the moment you enter the office. Issues With ZocDoc App: I scheduled my appointment through the ZocDoc App and almost as soon as I got my email confirmation, the office cancelled the appointment and I was informed through ZocDoc (via email) and NOT through the office over the phone. I didn't even receive a voicemail from the office. I tried using the ZocDoc App again (as this was my first attempt with the App) and I was able to schedule a new appointment. I received a call the next day confirming an appointment with a completely different date and time then the one I had selected from the office's list of available appointment times. I canceled my appointment to start fresh. I called the next day to schedule an appointment after exploring the availabilities of other endocrinology specialists in my network and the office staff was friendly and accomodating. The Location: The office is pretty easy to get to from the 6 train and the walk is straight forward. If you have a vague understanding of the city, it's impossible to get lost on the way. You should plan for a 5-10 minute walk depending on the amount of foot traffic. The office is small and there are two buildings on the block with the same address. The correct entrance is the less inviting-looking of the two and requires that you ring the doorbell before entering. If you go to the wrong building, a doorman will quickly redirect you. The office is kept at a cozy temperature although the music is unfortunately loud and makes it difficult to hear when your name is called. It's clear there is a deliberate effort to maintain the cleanliness of the space while simultaneously preventing it from looking too sterile and unwelcoming. The Wait: The wait was under an hour, but surprisingly long considering how quickly I was able to fill out my forms and the fact that I had arrived to my appointment on time. Luckily, the environment is quite welcoming and comfortable with simple yet considerate accommodations for patients in waiting such as a water cooler, a diverse selection of magazines, and a box of tissues. The Doctor: From my experience, Dr. Tulpan is informed and willing to explain your condition as much as you would care to know, although she limits her explanations if not prompted. Tip: Ask explicit questions about what you would like to know about your diagnosis/treatment. She was very unemotional and unwilling to engage in small talk, but she made up for this with her speed and efficiency. It was clear that her priority was helping as many patients as possible which I appreciate in a doctor. I spent more time in the waiting room than I did in her office and I left having learned everything I needed to know.

Dr. Tulpan was very lovely and she explained things very well. Unfortunately, the wait time for the exam was beyond unreasonable. Not sure if I would recommend it based on this. Having said that the front desk/medical assistant, who pretty much takes care of everything in the office is genuinely a nice person.
I've been seeing Dr. Tulpan for a few years as a specialist and recently as my GP. She has an excellent bedside manner and she takes the time to ask and answer questions. Dr. Tulpan truly cares about her patients and their well-being often following up after my visit w/other doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Tulpan to anyone who is seeking a thoughtful, thorough & caring physician.
She was really nice, easy to talk to. Answered all the questions I had. Explained her role and the information that she would be able to provide me with. Really great doctor as an entirety.
