I was born and raised in South India. After completing medical school in India, I pursued training in Internal Medicine in Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in New York.
I strongly believe that hormones play a central role in our overall well-being. By interpreting the hormone axis in the context of the clinical picture, we can narrow down on ailments. I treat conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal nodules, PCOS, among others, which can be effectively managed through various methods to enhance our sense of well-being. My approach involves partnering with each patient to tailor treatment plans that are unique to their needs. The goal is to guide them on a path of healing and improved well-being. I am dedicated to providing personalized care for individuals seeking assistance with their health concerns.
On a personal note, I currently live in Manhattan and appreciate its
cultural and culinary offerings. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband our lovely puppy and practice yoga for relaxation.

Terrible experience—do not recommend. I called ahead to say I’d be 10 minutes late and was told to still come. After traveling from 130th to 34th, the receptionist refused to check me in, citing that I spoke with the Mt Sinai call center and that they had no authority to say I could still be accommodated. The next available appointment was in December. I offered to wait in the office all day in the event of a cancellation or window of opportunity, and they still said they couldn't accommodate me. I explained my OBGYN suspects a pituitary tumor and asked to wait for a cancellation, but they said no and even cited the doctor’s pregnancy as a reason, which was odd. The lack of empathy or flexibility was shocking, especially given the urgency. In contrast, I went one floor down to another endocrinologist who immediately offered me an 8 a.m. Zoom appointment the next day. The difference was night and day—one office was rude and rigid, the other with compassion, flexibility and urgency.

I made this appointment because of a few ongoing concerns and multiple suggestions to see an endocrinologist. I was optimistic because of the great reviews but it honestly seemed like the doctor couldn’t have cared less about my concerns. I brought my medical records and she flipped through them quickly and then handed them back to me and didn’t keep them. Implied I didn’t know what kind of doctor I was at and that she wouldn’t be able to help with the issues I was communicating.

I waited MONTHS for this appointment. I filled out my insurance two separate times. I traveled an hour during the heat wave. When I get to the office I find out that LOCATION does not take my insurance (and no, no one tried to contact me about it). The extent of their help finding me a new appointment consisted of a phone number of the location that does take my insurance. Speaking of, the location where my insurance was accepted did not have appointments available until March OF NEXT YEAR, 2025. I am very upset about this experience especially since I have been trying to see a specialist for my condition for at least a year now. Ridiculous.

Was told after I paid the co-pay by the medical assistant that the doctor wouldn’t see me if I was there for anything hormone related or any weight changes. When I prompted further as this is what I believed an endo does, she told me she’d personally get in trouble by the doctor if she put down that I was there for hormonal checks. When I told her I was referred by my PCP for a hormone check, she apologized. Was a very confusing experience to say the least.

I saw Dr.Reddy for a swollen thyroid. I am a 21 year old with no outstanding medical history and no symptoms other than the swelling of my thyroid. She saw me for all of five minutes, felt my neck, and immediately started talking about cancer. She said I'd have to get an ultrasound, fine, but terrified me with consistent talk of cancer. I booked an ultrasound upstairs that would happen TWO MONTHS LATER. I found another place to book an ultrasound and had it done the next week since Dr. Reddy scared me so much. The results were sent to her and I have still not heard a thing from her since. It's been almost three weeks. I found a new doctor and we already have a plan of action. And it's not cancer!
