More about Mariah Reil, RD, MS
Mariah began her educational career with a special interest in psychology, eager to learn more about the way we think and make decisions. She quickly discovered a love for food and nutrition and decided to pursue a career in dietetics to bring compassion and understanding toward eating and food.
Mariah completed her bachelor's degree, master’s in Nutrition, and her Internship in Dietetics and Nutrition at South Dakota State University. During her education, she focused her research on child eating patterns and school nutrition and wellness policy. She has over 4 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and has worked with patients in areas including general well-being, feeding children and starting solids, preventative nutrition, diabetes, oncology, and intuitive eating.
Mariah’s mission is to help patients achieve freedom to enjoy all foods while feeling confident in making nutrition choices to feel their best. She knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle with a relationship to food and body image after struggling with dieting in college. She brings a non-diet approach, compassion, and expertise to her patients.
Mariah is also a mom to three small children. She loves teaching her clients how to model a positive relationship with food to children and knows the importance of easy, low-stress nutrition for all! When she’s not helping others with nutrition, you can usually find her chasing her kids around, baking, or going for walks with her family.
