My Diabetes was greatly improved by the nutrition knowledge imparted to me by Mr Torchia. I had dreaded going in but was pleasantly surprised by her comforting and easy to understand nutrition concepts related to my diabetes. My Alc had dropped from 8% to 6.8% and I have lost 10#

The Intervention:
I have been in public health and the clinical nutrition field for over 17 years and have made it my life's mission to help improve quality of life and decrease obesity and its risk factors of diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, osteopathic inflammation, and unemployment/disability or excessive work days lost. Improved health outcomes are associates with decreased financial losses in the work place. Innovation and productivity are positive outcomes of good health, and as half of daily hours are spent at the office, it is the perfect place to begin a health promoting intervention. (See Corporate Services).
Attainable Goals:
Health, nutrition and fitness seminars illustrating consequences of poor weight parameters but emphasizing easy and attainable options for improved diet, plausability of daily exercise, statistics on consequences of poor diet and weight issues, and one-on-one clinical nutrition assessments all are available to you and your staff. Your company's needs will guide the tailor made presentations and staff participation.
It is the hope of public health interventions such as these to improve health outcomes and to decrease health care costs both related to corporate premiums of health insurance at the same that improved staff health provided improved productivity and quality of work and life.

Very productive I was on the edge of getting sugar diabetes and with the help of the nutritionist I have lost 15.5 lbs by eating better & helped control diabetes.
