I really liked Marianna. She made me feel super comfortable the whole time she was in the exam room with me, and patiently put up with my hypochondria. She thoroughly discussed my history with me, and was very helpful when I asked her for advice on non-hormonal contraceptives. Overall, the office was speedy, the employees were kind, and they seemed to work very efficiently, which was cool.
The other thing that I really liked about Marianna was that she was well versed in T1d, and communicated very well with me about potential contraindications, the impact of the covid vaccine on a woman's body, and made sure that I was receiving the overall preventive care that I need as a human.
In unrelated news, while I don't speak Spanish natively, I did notice that there was a lot of Spanish regularly spoken by the staff, so I would highly recommend this practice for anyone who prefers to communicate with their healthcare providers in Spanish. Highly.
