Marie was born in Haiti. She spent her formative years there until completing high school, after which she relocated to Massachusetts where she resided for 35 years. Marie completed her undergraduate studies at Salem State University, where she earned a Bachelor's in Nursing with a Minor in Business Administration. She continued her education at the University of Massachusetts, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner and earning Palliative Care Certification. She then further pursued her academic ambitions, attending a Doctor in Nursing Practice program. In 2019, Marie made Georgia her new home.
Marie is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia, and the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society. Marie is fluent in French and Haitian Creole. She is committed to providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, with a special interest in managing chronic conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and situational depression. She welcomes patients aged 18 and older.
Marie finds joy in reading, spending quality time with family and friends, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions. She is a devoted wife and mother, surrounded by the support and love of her husband, children, and her sisters.

The office called me day of appointment ask me to come in earlier, which I changed my plans. I got there and after filing out paper work was told they do not accept my insurance. I needed FMLA paperwork submitted by Friday to work which I could not do thanks to this office! I scheduled this appointment Wednesday! I had no time left to find another doctor to schedule a new appointment my appt was Friday at 3pm. They had my insurance info when I booked! Very upset!

I never saw the provider via a video call. I scheduled the appointment, got notification of acceptance but the provider never called. I later learned it was also set up for an in person visit. This was only after calling the office twice. I left a voicemail requesting a return call to no avail.

I waited 30mins for an appt that did not happen. I scheduled a virtual visit because the website stated I could. After 30mins of no one calling me I called the office and the call center called the doctor to ask why no one had contacted me. The doctor not knowing the call center transferred me instead of keeping me on hold. I heard the doctor saying with a nasty attitude that she is not seeing me because she do not do virtual visits for first visits and either I can reschedule or I can see someone else. And, that she really didn’t care which I chose but either way she was not seeing me. All I needed was meds for a UTI. I am a nurse and knew what I needed and after waiting 30mins she could’ve still seen me or atleast had the decency to have her office contact me to say I cnt do a virtual visit being they called twice to confirm my appt. And had me do paperwork but never stated I had to do an office visit first. Very horrible bedside manners and unapologetic

M. Candy ,FNP is an excellent listener and communicator. She has a very good sense of humor. She listened to my issues and gave me her best knowledge on my issues and recommendations. If she wasn’t completely sure about an issue she will recommend someone who would help. She didn’t rush my appointment which I appreciated.
