I offer individual psychotherapy as well as caregiver support and assistance with adjustment for clients in a state of transition in their lives. I provide my clients with encouragement and support to make tangible changes in their lives and use a goal-directed approach to improve quality of life, functioning and adjustment. I choose treatment modalities based on client's goals for treatment, symptoms and personality factors. I also offer single-session consultations and short-term therapy options.
In addition to therapy, I offer individually tailored neuropsychological, psychological and psychoeducational assessments aimed at clarifying diagnoses, informing treatment, determining eligibility for accommodations, and providing insight into client's cognitive and emotional state. Low-cost brief evaluations are also available. Reports are provided promptly after completion of all testing.
I accept Medicare and offer assistance with submitting insurance claims to clients with out-of-network insurance coverage. Sliding scale payment option is available to eligible clients self-pay clients.

It sort of matters what kind of therapist you are looking for; this is such a personal decision. She gives good advice, but her manner can be a bit abrasive, but I don't think intentionally. She does talk a lot, it's true, but it seems like it she does that to help the patient make the connections themselves and see the world differently.

The whole experience was not as I expected pretty informal, and she talked a lot. I'm not sure if most psychotherapist do this. Overall very nice woman, but I'm not sure if she is the right therapist for me.
