What should a new client know about working with you?

By both formal education, training, and experience, I am well prepared to practice clinical psychology from cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic perspectives, which I strive to integrate and individualize for your treatment to meet your specific and particular needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session will involve exploring those issues that are most compelling to you - most on your mind and most weighing on your heart. We will recognize your intrinsic positive value, your strengths, as well as your challenges and needs. We will work together build on your strengths, practice new skills and ways of approaching old dilemmas and identify new understandings. New ways of relating to yourself and to others will emerge from our work. The work can be challenging, satisfying, enjoyable and at times emotionally difficult, but ultimately rewarding.
