Dr. Juarez and his staff were very friendly. He’s knowledgeable and a good Doctor with a great bedside manner. However, I was very dissatisfied with my wait time. A patient who entered the office after me, left, due to the time that we were waiting for a receptionist to even notice we were there. We’d rung the doorbell twice & it wasn’t until I had to yell, “HELLO?!?” A second time, for someone to come to the front and greet me/acknowledge that I was there for my appointment. I’d suggest maybe verifying appointment times and having the receptionist at the front desk to acknowledge patients when they come in. Office could also use a bit of cleaning and sprucing up in the waiting area. Overall, friendly, personable staff and a cool Doctor, who listens & gives good advice.

The doctor needs to observe patients personal space when possible especially younger ones. Additionally, active listening would be great. I had to repeat almost everything I said to him about my child’s condition. Other than that I think he is a good doctor except for these two things.

The DR said I needed to see a specialist and said he could get me an appt right away. I called the following day to follow up to see just how soon I could get this appointment due to my pain and the woman who I assume was his assistant said I havent gotten around to it but its on my list of "tasks to complete" . That right there showed me they didn't care . When I called to speak to the dr to ask a a question they said I couldn't unless I had an appt . Bunch of BS. Needless to say I will Not be returning.

I rarely write reviews but I was so shocked by this experience that now I'm hesitant to use Zocdoc in the future. I'm new to the area and wanted to find a primary care provider and address a current health concern. The reviews for Dr. Juarez were mixed, but his office takes my insurance and he had a lot of appointments available, so I decided to take the chance.
My first shock was when I drove up to the office. There was a tacky banner advertising "anti-aging" and "hormones" - not exactly the professional medical image you'd want from a physician. Outside the clinic were more advertisements for botox, lip augmentation, and other cosmetic procedures. I think the clinic even called itself a "med spa." Again, not the image I'd expect for a primary care doctor. When I went inside, I found a dingy, dirty waiting room. There were a bunch of old chairs piled up in a corner. Even though I had filled out some forms on Zocdoc before the appointment, I had to fill out paperwork again in the office because the office apparently doesn't have access to the Zocdoc forms. I didn't have to wait too long (10-15 min) before I was taken to a room. That was the dirtiest patient room I've ever seen. There were 3 chairs in the room, but 2 of them were so dirty that I was too grossed out to sit on them.
A few minutes later, a woman wearing non-professional clothes (jeans, blouse) came in and introduced herself by her first name. She didn't give her title or tell me her role (nurse, NP, medical assistant, physician assistant). She wasn't wearing a name badge or white coat or anything else that could have indicated her job. I still have no idea who she was. She asked me some questions about my medical concerns. The woman was friendly and seemed interested in helping me, but other than listening to my lungs, she didn't examine me at all. I was also shocked that she had long artificial nails, which are unhygienic and shouldn't be worn in the medical setting.

Doctor was in and out in less than 5 min and redirected my medical concerns (mind you this was an illness visit) to come in another appointment to discuss them instead. There were no questions as to why I was there, how long the symptoms, ect. I was just told to come back another time.

Wait time wasn't what I expected. Especially coming from a new patient. Reception I think needs to do a better job when it comes to appointments being set through zocdoc app or any other app. Other than all of that my visit went smooth and the staff was polite as well as Dr. Juarez.

Friendly, seems to actually care about well being of patient. If you want a shorter wait time, I recommend calling and making appointment rather than zocdoc booking. I don’t mind waiting a few minutes so I book on here and usually don’t have a problem getting to see a doctor/practitioner within 30 minutes of my 8AM appointment.
