Glad to have stumbled upon Dr. Akselrud. I am a busy person and the first thing that appealed to me was that appointments weren't booked a year out. Additionally, upon arriving, the wait was minimal (enough to fill out paperwork). The doctor came in right away and had great bedside manner, was professional, and thorough. Labs were drawn in-office (MAJOR CONVENIENCE) and there was no wait for this either. I was in and out within an hour. I also received a referral to a cardiologist that was in the same building where I was able to make an appointment on my way out.
Staff was friendly, competent, and the office was clean and inviting. Definitely recommend.

This was my first visit to this doctor. A fine office. The doctor was attentive and patient with me. I asked all questions on the merits. I made the necessary recommendations and appointments for me. I feel high professionalism and a great positive experience with patients. I stayed very well-attended by a doctor and recommended it to other patients.

Dr. Akselrud asked questions which I liked. I explained my symptoms and he knew which treatment would work best. I like that he was not willy nilly with trying to get me on various prescriptions and had me go through proper testing to rule out unnecessary trips back and forth.
