The visit is always beautiful! Dr. E's staff R truly angels!! I love them! Their is no other, that can replace Dr. E, nor step into his shoes, where I am concern - His word is bond, & he has proven to me he cares.. All the positive words said about him are true. He's my brother in spirit, & my doctor 4 life!!! AW.

Marple Medical Associates in Broomall, Pennsylvania, are cardiovascular physicians who have been offering patients advanced cardiovascular care and internal medicine for more than 30 years. Our aim is to provide compassionate care with a special focus on individual patient satisfaction.
Each of our physicians specializes in a specific area of cardiovascular medicine. These subspecialties include non-invasive cardiology and echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology and peripheral arterial intervention, and cardiac electrophysiology.
Our physicians care for patients at our main Lawrence Park location, where we offer convenient evening office hours, as well as at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Health Center in Newtown Square. We offer comprehensive cardiovascular testing at the Marple Cardiovascular Testing Center at our Lawrence Park location. We personally care for our hospitalized patients at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Mark Edelstein was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He attended college at Rutgers University and subsequently attended medical school at the University of Maryland. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Christiana Hospital and his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Cooper University Hospital.

Most relevant
Dr. Edelstein himself was good. He had a pleasant and professional demeanor. A couple of his staff members, not so much. In particular, the person who did my echocardiogram as well as the person who did my EKG. The echocardiogram person was the worst. She had no bedside manner at all. Made no eye contact and made no attempt to be friendly. She spoke only to direct me to be in the position she needed me to be in for her scan. She offered no comforting words as she pressed the device into my flesh, which was uncomfortable and sometimes painful. When it was over and time for me to get dressed, I felt very rushed. It was Winter, so I had a lot of layers that I had to put on after I cleaned off all the blue goo from the scan (of which there was quite a bit). After two minutes, the door was opened as I was still getting dressed and there was a cluster of about 4 staff people looking at me like I was holding them up. The person who did my EKG was somewhat better, but still not great. Again, very little eye contact and not very friendly. I understand that these people are busy and that they have a lot of patients to see, but that doesn't mean that all rules of basic manners go out the window.
