Dr. Goldstein has been practicing Dermatology in Connecticut for almost 30 years. He is a Board Certified Dermatologist and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Yale.
Dr. Goldstein personally examines every patient because he does not utilize a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. He feels that direct care by a highly experienced physician specialist is the best way to diagnose and treat skin problems.

Avoid going here unless you are desperate. Here is why:
1) As others have stated, Dr. Goldstein talks over you quite a bit and could improve his listening skills.
2) His receptionist is incompetent. She conducts all of her business via hand-written journal entry, did not provide a courtesy reminder to make an appointment and was impossible to get through with to provide payment. Technology has not touched this place since the day they opened in the 1800s or whenever that was.
3) He didn't solve my problem! The medication prescribed did nothing for my issue.

Dr Goldstein doesn't listen very carefully. He finished my sentences, didn't really care about my responses. I will see a different dermatologist in the future.

The office staff is exceptional, very helpful and cooperative. The doctor saw me right away. He greeted me, took a focused history and give me enough time to answer my questions. Very courteous. Being a physician myself, I felt very comfortable with the doctor, and will definitely recommend to my family/ friends.

Dr. Goldstein made feel very comfortable. I'm a brand new patient and he took time to build the appropriate rapport before beginning my consultation. He listened to my concerns and helped put my mind at ease by explaining everything in terms I could understand. He's a really nice guy and you can tell he really knows his stuff.
