Great Doctor. He isn't about throwing medication at you, he wants to find out the cause of an issue and address it as least invasive as possible.

It was great!Dr. Huun was very experienced, professional, and caring. It was my first visit and Dr. Huun made me feel very comfortable and went to extra mile to save me an extra trip by doing my blood test on the same visit. Also, Dr. Huun gave me a lot of helpful information about a range of preventative issues, which made me firmly believe that I was in good hands.

Dr. Huun has practiced internal medicine in the Denver area since 1988. A California native, he initially came to Denver in 1984 to begin his residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center after completing his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. His fascination with medicine began at the age of five when his severe allergies caused his family to seek out specialty care in San Francisco. He never forgot the kindness showed to him by his hometown pediatrician and the allergists at the University of California at San Francisco.
After beginning his internship in Denver in 1984, he fell in love with a Denver native and the Mile High City and has made Colorado his home. He began his career in 1988 as a physician for the Public Service Company (Xcel Energy). He remained at that clinic after it was purchased by Health One in 1993. In 1998, he joined Colorado Permanente Medical Group where he enjoyed treating patients for 12 years. He also practiced for two years at an integrative care clinic in southeast Denver.
Dr. Huun believes that it is important for primary care physicians to help patients navigate the sea of information available to them and give practical, quality advice. He strives to always remember what it is like to be on the other end of the stethoscope.
Dr. Huun is married and has two children. He loves biking at the Cherry Creek State Park, walking his dog, Cosby, and hiking in the mountains. In addition to his professional interests he enjoys reading historical nonfiction and gazing at the skies with his telescope.
