Dr. Marlene Tages-Cordova graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1986 with a degree in Biology. She attended medical school at the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1994 with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tages-Cordova completed her residency in internal medicine in 1997 at Long Beach Medical (Clinical Affiliate of Mt. Sinai Medical Center) in Long Beach, New York.
Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Tages-Cordova moved to Pembroke Pines and has been in practice for almost 20 years and is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Tages-Cordova was one of the founding physicians of Lakeside Medical and Aesthetic Center and practiced for almost 18 years as part of the group. With focus on Family Medicine and Women's health, Dr. Tages- Cordova thrived in changing many of her patient's lives. In Spring of 2018, she went on to open her own practice and created Ohealth by Dr. T. She is passionate about prevention and treating the cause of illness. Dr. T believes in healing the body mentally and physically. She is a mom of two teenagers that keep her busy on the weekends. She loves to stay active and is also a Tae Bo instructor. I loved coming into the office with relaxing music playing and an oil diffuser on. It helped make the atmosphere so serene. The staff were friendly and gentle. The doctor was excellent, understanding, caring, fun, and very knowledgeable. I love that she supports my beliefs and her motto of optimizing my health. I love that you can take your bloodwork and allergy tests right there, and even your pap smear. I can finally say I have found the right doctor for me snd my family.
