About Dr. Peter Salerno
Dr. Peter Salerno is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with more than 13 years of experience. He practices within the Memorial Health Care system as a hospitalist and joined Orange Care Medical Group in 2024. Dr. Salerno earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital South Miami and also completed a residency in Surgery at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. His academic interests include overall health and wellness and preventive medicine. Dr. Salerno brings the experience and knowledge to care for patients in both hospital and office settings while offering a holistic approach by collaborating with local specialists in the community to provide the best possible care. He is a sports car enthusiast and enjoys Florida Panthers hockey.

I love all the doctors and the staff however; it is impossible to speak to a person when calling, the automated process has you enter a lot of information and then tells you someone will call back and I have yet to receive a call back. At a minimum your call should be acknowledged and someone should call back.
