The usual time filling out the history paperwork, getting height & weight measurements, blood pressure, and urine test.

I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Cole and her staff. I will definitely make her my primary OB/GYN provider.

I was surprised how much doctor pay attention to each detail of my health/family medical history/daily diet. Without high technology machine, probably this is what we need-talk and try to fix the health in overall in right way for long term.
I was pleasantly surprised by my visit with Dr. Martha Cole. After filling out an extensive questionnaire, she met with me (fully dressed in a comfy chair) for a 30-minute discussion of my health. I've never had a doctor spend this much time with me! Because we spoke for so long, I was able to mention issues that I hadn't even intended (or remembered) to bring up. Afterwards, I undressed, and she did a thorough gynecological and physical examination, including looking closely at the skin on my back. I have found in recent years that doctors seem to be afraid of looking at patients nude, but isn't that the point of a checkup? After providing advice, arranging for tests, and offering product samples, I was on my way. Even though my insurance is changing, I will continue to visit Dr. Cole, and I've already recommended her to one of my friends.

Dr. Cole is a professional and she takes time to meet with you, address concerns, make you comfortable with the process etc. Your appointment may take a long time, especially if you suffer from endometriosis or pain. She is a keeper! You'll feel like you have a personal relationship with her. if you just want a pap smear etc, she may not be the doctor for you. But if you have health issues or are worried about things like fertility, she's the most thorough doctor I've seen in any category
Dr. Cole is extremely thorough and knowledgeable in such a wide scope of health issues and cared not only about my health but also my well-being. I found Dr. Cole to be very professional and benign.
By far the best doctor I've been to. I wouldnt recommend her if you're just looking to pop in and get your annual, but if you're in need of a physician who is detailed and comprehensive, you're in the right office. She took care of all of the things my PCP neglects. She's personable, and exactly what a physician should be...a caring partner in your health. Bits of advice...do you paperwork before you go, and arrive early! There is more to fill out, and the office is in an apartment building, so a little hard to find.
I had to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to see Dr. Cole. Then Dr. Cole dragged out the appointment way longer than necessary by chatting with me about lots of irrelevant things. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Cole if you are a working professional who needs to take time out of your work day for doctor’s appointments.
The wait time was about an hour. My appointment with her lasted another hour because she asks a lot of questions about your overall health. I would have preferred just a visit regarding OBGYN related things, instead of my dietary intake and such.
I booked this office because of the good reviews she's received on Zocdoc, and because she was located close to a metro stop. But I won't be back. Doctor asked a lot of questions about items completely unrelated to my reason for my appointment, pressed me to accept her book recommendations and holistic care suggestions (why would a gynecologist recommend a Neti pot?), and seemed judgmental of my lifestyle. When I asked her to explain the procedure she was conducting, she seemed taken aback. I left the office after my appointment feeling vulnerable and ignored.
Dr. Cole is thorough, comprehensive, and extremely knowledgeable. She also seems like a genuinely warm and interesting person, which is a bonus. I appreciated her attention to detail that added to a "big picture" understanding of my health. She takes her time (her forms say expect to be at the office for two hours - that is absolutely correct). I have never had such a thorough meeting with a doctor. She clearly cares about her patients and provides excellent counsel to help inform them to make the best choices for their health. Greatest appreciation for Dr. Cole and would highly recommend.

Dr. Cole is very thorough and caring. I made an appointment for an IUD removal and unexpectedly had a pretty complete health review and examination. I very much appreciated this level of care and Dr. Cole also gave me advice on several unrelated issues. The office is a little quirky in that it feels more like a busy home than a clinical setting but I don't mind it.
She was wonderful, very thorough!

This was by far the most traumatizing doctor's appointment I've ever had. Not only did I end up in the office for 3 1/2 hours for a routine annual exam, but the doctor was all over the place. I could hear everything happening in the other exam room, because the walls are paper thin, and the doctor kept forgetting instruments and left the door to the exam room wide open while I was in the stirrups. On top of all of this, she kept trying to sell me holistic treatments/books for conditions completely unrelated to the reason for my appointment, and for conditions I didn't actually have. It was the worst appointment I've ever had anywhere.
Dr. Cole is great. Very competent and informative. What really stands out to me is her listening skills. I hadn't been in in over a year and it seemed like she remembered me very well. This may be a result of reviewing my file/charts but it seems like a lot of doctors don't even do THAT. I would recommend her to anyone needing an obgyn. She's fabulous.
I arrived at the office 15 minutes prior to my appointment time, as suggested by the receptionist. The gynecologist was running at least 1 hour late on her appointments, with the patient before me having not been attended to yet. My appointment ended up starting almost 2 hours late and my first consultation was rushed due to time constraints. The office's filing system was in disarray and the receptionist seemed indifferent about assisting other patients. Another patient confided later that this office always runs at least one hour late.
Dr Cole was excellant. She took her time with me and took time to go over options and explain her thought processes. I will definitely go back to her for my Gyn needs!

it has been a vary long time, since I had a REAL Dr visit Dr. Cole took the time to understand me, and explain things. She did not seem to be on the "lease" of the insurance company. You can tell she is in it because she loves her craft. Antigone
