Very nice dr. Even though I wasn't matched with a doctor that could primarily treat me permently or write needed prescriptions but he is a very nice dr and his office secretaries are very friendly and personable.

Associates : The entire staff at Primary Care is extremely professional. Everyone is extremely personable, competent and strives to meet your needs. Dr. Kerzer is always quite attentive, giving me as long as I need to explain my issues. He is incredibly resourceful, and takes care of all of my medical questions and needs with a smile.

Martin J. Kerzer, DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) has been a family physician in RI since 1980. Dr. Kerzer graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1977 and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Union Memorial Hospital in New Jersey in 1980. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Kerzer is a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society, Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians, Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Kerzer is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Brown Medical School and he received the Dean's Teaching Excellence Award in 2013 and 2005-2006. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kerzer serves as one of the Medical Directors of Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation (RIPCPC). He is also a Tar Wars Presenter, speaking to children about the dangers of smoking. Dr. Kerzer is a leader in promoting and implementing electronic medical records in RI and he was awarded Physician of the Year in 2009 from Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation.
