While the office was spectacular: the staff, the doctor...ZocDoc made it MESSY because when I arrived, the office didn't have me on their calendar! Luckily they were all pros and got me in anyway. ZocDoc messed this up!

Dr Thakor is fantastic - knowledgeable, thorough, candid, friendly, and explains everything well. In my experience, she needs more help in the receptionist and nursing roles, as it is very difficult to get through on the phone and there is always a long wait.

Really appreciated Dr Thakor. She treated me incredibly well and noticed things I forgot to mention or hadn't even thought of. She was extremely thorough and quick at the same time. She made me honestly feel like she cared about me.

After 10 years in RI and kissing a lot of frogs we found Dr. Thakor. She was such a pleasure to meet. She was very personable and easy to talk to.
She was genuinely interested in what our needs were and had solutions that will be very helpful. She is the first doctor we have found in RI that smiles and has a sense of humor. She saw my wife and I together, as we had back to back appointments, and that worked out very well. Heaven, who took our blood pressure and did the preliminary interview was also a delight to meet and to talk to. We are very pleased to be new patients of Dr. Thakor!

Dr Thakor and her staff were very comforting and kind. This is a very small office that seems to be just getting it's footing in the community - I predict that Dr Thakor will continue to add on to their office staff and overall vibe as her practice expands. I know her practice will do great for a few reasons - 1. Her (singular) front desk staff is very attentive, patient, kind and laughed at my jokes (we all need an ego boost sometimes lol) she also was the one doing my intake and vitals - I like the continuity of that.
2. Dr Thakor's office is very clean. It is also cozy without an excess of decor, though a few personal touches would be appreciated.
3. Dr Thakor herself is very welcoming with a bright smile, warm, kind eyes and attentive to details. While she allows for mainly patient lead approach, she kept us on topic and listened to my concerns/opinions w/out rushing me. She also sandwiched her concerns between positive statements - I love this approach. Thank you Plain St PC.

Overwhelmingly positive experience with Dr Thakor. As the first appointment of the day, I had a bit of a longer wait due to traffic that delayed the nurse from arriving. But when I was seen, the nurse was very friendly and helpful. Dr Thakor took her time to review all the info she had about my medical history. She was thorough and when she saw me, very nice and professional. She educated me on my options and answered all my questions. It’s a tiny office, which could have its downsides, but on the positive, it feels like you have really dedicated attention and aren’t just a number. I look forward to keeping Dr Thakor on as my PCP and to seeing her in the future.

This was a “new patient” visit for me with Dr Thakor. As a first visit, I was very impressed. Dr Thakor saw me in a timely manner, and she actually took the time to review who I was and tests I had had before coming into the room. So many times doctors come in and ask questions that you’ve already submitted answers to so you know they never even bothered or took the time to look at your answers before speaking to you. I also appreciated the fact that she took her time, she listened to what I had to say, she was not dismissive, she explained things, and she came up with a plan moving forward. I also liked that she came in and sat down and looked at me while we were talking…she was not taking notes or clicking away on a computer. If things continue like this, I will be very happy that I decided to choose Dr Thakor as my PCP.
