I have been disappointed so many times in my search for the right Primary Care Physician that I have gone years without one. Dr. Sasagawa (Dr.Sasa) is Assistant Research Scientist at Bastyr University and teaches statistics. His practice is based on current scientific findings. He is interested in the mid-life health management (primary care), and in the concept of salutogenesis. Salutogenesis is the concept derived from the observation of people who are generally happy. Aaron Antonovsky noticed that despite having the environmental and personal risk characteristics, happy people are generally healthier and have better life. Dr.Sasa would like to facilitate your health from the prospective of wellness rather than disease symptoms.
Having a low back injury at the age 19 as a road construction worker, he likes working with low back pain (LBP) patients by implementing self-management plans including diet, nutrition, exercise, ergonomics, postural correction and sleep. He believes in the body’s amazing ability to heal itself if proper (biopsychosocial) environment is provided.
Dr. Sasa is accepting new patients. He is amenable for house-calls for those busy mid-life professionals who cannot visit the clinic.
