Dr Morgan received his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in the field of allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology. He is on staff at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen and Medical Center of McKinney, as well as Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
He has published chapters and articles in major journals and texts. Publications have covered the areas of asthma epidemiology, antihistamines, advanced therapies for hives resistant to standard treatments, new approaches for nasal inflammation not caused by allergies, and drug allergy. Dr Morgan has published in the major allergy journals including the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, as well as allergy-related works from other disciplines, such as the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Advances in Psychosomatic Medicine, the Archives of Dermatology, and others.
He is a fellow (FAAAAI) of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a fellow (FACAAI) of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr Morgan is a diplomate (board certified) of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Teaching is also important. This includes responsibilities at the medical school as well as allowing students to observe in the office.

This was my first time for allergy testing. Dr. Morgan and his staff was kind and considerate. They explained what would happen as the tests progressed. That immediately defused my nervousness. Turns out I may allergic to ragweed, pet dander, and dust mites. Dr. Morgan was soft spoken, and he didn't try to rush me out of his office. He gave me a sample of a steroid nasal spray. He told me to call him in a week to tell him if the nasal spray was working. If that doesn't work, he mentioned other courses of action that might be more helpful.

Very thorough, professional, and personable. Dr. Morgan was very patient in gathering all my medical history and assessing the problems I was experiencing. My appointment ended up lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, but that's not a bad thing. Dr. Morgan had tests done on me during this time, evaluated the results and outlined a process to proceed with. Will be going back in a few weeks for a follow up to see if the prescribed treatment is working.

Dr. Morgan took the time to explain not only the medicines he was prescribing but the medicine that my primary doctor prescribed and never took the time to explain. He explained what i should do the next time I have a flare up and what we may do in the future if this continues.
