An Orange County "native," Dr. Coulson returned home to complete both his internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Orange County, Orange, California where he was honored by being selected as Chief Resident for year 2006-2007.
Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Coulson says, "I love the opportunity physicians have to teach their patients how to be healthy. I also appreciate the trust they place in my hands as their physician."
In his spare time, Dr. Coulson enjoys skiing, playing golf and soccer and spending time with his family. He considers himself an avid sports fan and loves to watch soccer, baseball and all things UCLA.

Our experience with Dr. Coulsen is always top notch. We don't like seeing any other doctor for our son's needs. He is warm, compassionate and really listens to all of our questions or concerns. He always explains it to us in a way that is easy to understand and never hesitates to offer clarification if needed. He is simply THE BEST!!!

Dr. Coulson is the epitome of what a pediatrician should be. He is dedicated and talented as well as an amazing listener. He has literally changed my son's life and is integral to Bodhi's thriving even with an epilepsy diagnosis. Hands down, Dr. Coulson, is the best doctor we have ever worked with!
