About Dr. Maureen Villasenor

Coming from a large family of twelve children, she has always had a passion for caring for others. She grew up here in Santa Ana, California, and completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with honors from Charles Drew/UCLA. She completed her internship and pediatric residency training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2012, where she went on to serve as Chief Resident. As a mother of three young children, she understands the struggles that parents go through and loves helping parents learn how to make their children's and families' lives as healthy as possible. She recognizes that every family is different and therefore adapts her practice to best meet the needs of each individual patient. She loves taking the time to get to know her patients and their families so that children will enjoy coming to the doctor and she can ensure her patients get the best care possible.
