My young son and I have been seeing Dr. Rezvani for our allergies and asthma for the past 5 years. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Dr. Rezvani is what every doctor should be: well-versed and knowledgeable; a great listener; thorough; accessible to patients; and perhaps most importantly, well-balanced in his medical thought processes and approaches to treatment. He desires for each patient to experience true, full, complete health, and he genuinely partners with his patients to help them achieve their goals.

Maziar Rezvani, MD, FAAAI is the founder of AvicennaMD, composed of Avicenna Integrative Medicine and Avicenna Allergy and Asthma. He also serves as Adjunct Professor at the Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Rezvani obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the prestigious University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Rezvani is board certified in both internal medicine and allergy and immunology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, and the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine. He also serves as Vice-Chairman/Primary Scientific Reviewer for the Sterling Institutional Review Board and has also served as a reviewer for the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Rezvani has participated as an investigator in several clinical trials for hereditary angioedema and asthma. He is the leading author or co-author of a number of peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, book chapters, and presentations on topics ranging from allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, olfaction and rhinitis subtypes, hereditary angioedema, anaphylaxis during immunot

My first appointment with Dr. Rezvani was unlike any I've had with other GPs prior. He's extremely knowledgeable and has a phenomenal approach to evaluating your current health and devising a plan to reach your absolute best. The appointment was far from rushed. In fact I spent almost 2 hours with him going over previous medical records, where I am today, and how I will continue to live and lead a healthy lifestyle. In my experience many GPs try and limit their appointment times to half an hour, but Dr. Rezvani was sincere in his words and was able to speak to me on a personal level. I highly recommend Dr. Rezvani!

Amazing, caring, articulate doctor! Although I scheduled for an annual, I was having asthma issues due to mold. He did a breathing test, treatment and allergy test all in the first appointment. Received prescriptions for inhalers and steroids right away! I look forward to seeing the doctor again! Also, front office staff is organized and efficient.

We were very pleased and surprised at how much time the doctor spent listening to the problem. He is extremely well versed on the effects of excema steroid cream withdrawal. He did not recommend more steroids!!! He came up with a plan and some solutions. We spent a year visiting doctors who were quite lacking in knowledge. We feel lucky to have found Dr.Rezvani and will continue with him.

Dr. Rezvani was extremely patient with me. He listened very closely, and surprisingly as I spoke he wrote down every single issue I was concerned about. I was astounded to see such attention. Furthermore, he diagnosed my issues and found out that I was definitely at the wrong doctor. So he linked me to a physician who could help me with my condition which was very serious at the time. Dr. Rezvani is well spoken, professional, personable and seemingly very interested in developing a good patient/doctor relationship. Based on the initial visit, and I was skeptical having just changed insurance plans, I would highly recommend him.
The office needs a woman's touch to warm the surroundings, pictures/plants etc., but otherwise just fine.

I am under new insurance coverage so am shopping for a new doctor. I think I found it in Dr Rezvani. His satellite office in mid-Buckhead is shared with a chiropractor, very clean, well decorated and calming environment, and the staff was very nice. I also very much appreciate the fact that Dr Rezvani is knowledgeable and supportive of both Eastern and Western medicine. This first experience in the office was very pleasant and rewarding for me. A big thank you goes out to Zoc Doc for helping me find Dr Rezvani and to Dr Rezvani for a great experience and for the quick appointment!
