Adriana was born in Decatur, Georgia. She was raised in nearby Lilburn, Georgia, graduating from Brookwood High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Technology from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Academic Achievement Scholarship. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Augusta University, where she was awarded the John Palmer Professionalism Award and Scholarship.
Adriana's clinical interests lie in cardiology, gastroenterology, and preventive healthcare. She brings a unique clinical skillset as a certified ultrasound technician. I did not see the provider I booked with. She didn’t show up and the office didn’t reach out to patients booked with her in advance. Though, another patient was called while I was there to let them know their appointment was moved due to her not being in the office. My appt was at 7:30 and I wasn’t seen until 8 (kind of disappointing given I was one of the first patients of the day and there wasn’t a wait). I had to check in twice. The provider I did see was able to fulfill my purpose, but bedside manner was not ideal. Was overall disappointing and wasn’t a comfortable experience.

She failed to listen to anything I was telling her. I said at least 3 times the pain occurred in different parts of my body at different times, but was currently located in only one body part. She completely ignored me and was determined to MRI the one body part. Did not listen at all. She started ruling out different conditions I had expressed worries about without asking any questions, saying I didn't have the symptoms, when I did, she just hadn't asked about them, or let me have a chance to tell her about them, until I interrupted her to tell her I did have the problems. I hoped her being younger and fresh out of school would mean she would be more attentive, unlike what I've experienced with older doctors/medical providers, but that wasn't the case. We spent the majority of the appointment going over my medical history and not even addressing the condition I booked to be seen for. The office staff was pleasant, though. Overall, I would not recommend.

Highly recommend Adriana!
Adriana is very personable and attentive and formulated a well thought out plan to help me manage my particular medical concerns. She took into account me starting a new job while also beginning new medication and planned ahead for the best way to manage my care plan that I’m very pleased with. She also recommended some great resources to make sure I’m taking better care of myself.
The clinical staff is all very friendly and the location of this office is easy to find. I plan to follow up virtually for convenience! Very happy overall with my experience and recommend Adriana and her practice.

Overall visit was great. I did wait a good while once back in the room. I think Dr. Adriana was double booked for my appointment time causing me to wait longer than normal. The first thing she did was apologize for my wait.
