Dr. Megan Lent was born and raised in Chillicothe, Missouri. She
completed her undergraduate studies at University of Missouri-
Columbia, and earned her medical degree from the University
of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. She completed an
internship in internal medicine and dermatology residency at
Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois, where she
served as Chief Resident in 2014-2015.
Dr. Lent is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology
and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She has
co-authored multiple medical articles. Her clinical interests
include adult and pediatric medical dermatology, and she will
be seeing general dermatology patients and performing simple
excisions at the Lenexa and Overland Park KS locations.

Dr. Lent is always pleasant and greets me with a smile and a handshake. She is thorough in a full body check. She explains what she sees and whether it's something requiring further treatment, something that is a choice for treatment for purely cosmetic reasons, or something that will never be an issue. This is my third year with her as my dermatologist and I couldn't be more pleased.
