About Dr. Mitchell Gibbons
Dr. Gibbons is a native Missourian. He completed medical training at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, graduating top of his class, achieving Alpha Omega Alpha honors and producing over 20 scientific papers and presentations. He served as a chief resident at the University of Iowa. He has received world class training in general, pediatric, and surgical dermatology with an emphasis on special populations such as veterans and underserved rural communities. Dr. Gibbons approaches each visit with the desire to understand not only the underlying disease process but the values of each individual in order to tailor treatment to meet their unique needs.
He takes interest in a myriad of skin diseases including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, autoimmune disease, and blistering skin diseases such as bullous pemphigoid. Beyond the clinic, he enthusiastically supports Chiefs football, enjoys weightlifting, and reading. Dedicated to family, he enjoys spending time with his wife, a devoted pediatrician, and daughter Charlotte.

I would say, be prepared to wait so don't go during your lunch if you only have 30min lunch break. I guess doctor has similar cases regarding my skin, no biopsy, didn't even clean/squeeze the area to get a better prognosis of my face bump issue!

Went in for a yearly skin cancer screening, since I'm out in the sun all the time. My exam was quick and easy... highly recommend Dr Gibbons he was personable and answered all my question. Will definitely book another appointment with Dr Gibbons.

Everyone at the office today was very nice. Dr Gibbons listened to me and made me feel like the care I needed was the best solution for me. Definitely recommend this dermatologist. Such a great place.
